 This
55 seat restaurant has been established at The Angel since 1995,
offering an extensive menu of traditional Italian cuisine. With a variety
of meat, fish, risotto, pasta, salads and pizza dishes, there is
hopefully something for everyone, even for the most ardent sceptic
of continental food!
Opening Times:
Lunches 12-2 and evenings from 6.30-9pm.
Pre-booking advised for evenings and Sunday
Lunch.
The Angel, built
in the early 1500's is full of character and either of the two bars
or the central glass-roofed courtyard are ideal settings for pre-meal
drinks and to study the menus (all areas are candlelit in the evenings.)

Bookings are now being taken for Christmas; an order form that can be downloaded here.
A number of
dishes are suitable for vegetarians and vegans, and are marked on
the menus as:
(V) = Vegetarian and (Vg)
= Vegan.
